Reusable Name Tag

Remix Plastic

Regular price $5.00 Sale

Say goodbye to single-use plastic and paper name tags with these reusable beauties!

We've all been there, we go to an event and are given a printed nametag in a little plastic sleeve that we pin to our clothes. Despite best intentions to return before we leave the event, we often arrive home and take off our coat only to find the pesky tag lurking underneath. What to do with it then? Landfill is quite often the only option.

These reusable tags have been created so that you don't find yourself in that position again. You can write your name, customise it any way you like and reuse it time and time and time again. The perfect gift for the social butterfly in your life.

Dimensions: 68mm x 47mm

Ways to use:

  • purchase one and put your name on it in permanent marker, take with you in your bag or wallet and pull out when you get offered a sticker or plastic tag at meetings, workshops, networking or other events.
  • if your workplace often holds meetings and workshops that require name tags, you could purchase a bulk lot and ask attendees to write their names on them in whiteboard marker. Afterwards just wipe clean and they are ready for the next event.
  • include in gift bags for guests to take home. They can be used in their day to day work.

The tags have been laser cut from ice cream container lids which are not currently accepted in local recycling systems (Polypropylene, RIC 5). They may have some embossed markings - we celebrate their uniqueness, as we hope you do. They have magnets* on the back to connect to clothing without putting holes in your top. Pin backs are available on request.

To find out more about why Remix Plastic make these, read the blog post.

The magnet backs can damage magnetic media such as credit cards if brought into close contact so care should be taken to ensure they don’t get too close to any cards with magnetic strips. There is no threat to electronic devices such as cellphones. If you have a pacemaker please refrain from using a magnetic tag, as an alternative we can provide pin back name tags on request.
