Bespoke Furniture & Reclaimed Timber
Eoin is our bespoke furniture expert and he loves crafting exquisite pieces from salvaged timber that would otherwise have ended up in landfill. We have a broad range of furniture from small side tables to large kitchen islands and outdoor furniture. No project is too big or too small and we love the complex pieces that requires us to put our thinking caps on and plan the piece in depth before making the first cut. Eoin's timber of choice is reclaimed Rimu which always has a story to tell with almost 100 year old nail holes and original tool marks which create a fascinating story behind every timeless piece of furniture.
Below is a sample of some of the works we have completed in the past. We have a stock of reclaimed Rimu, Cedar, Purple Heart and more, ready and waiting for your next project. Our timber has come from renovations and earthquake repairs right here in Christchurch, New Zealand. Some of the timber dates back to the 1930's and would otherwise have ended up in landfill. The new timber that we use is often construction offcuts which would also have ended up in landfill. We only very rarely buy new timber for our projects as a very last resort.
If you have salvaged timber that you would like to craft into a piece of furniture, we would be delighted to work with you to come up with a piece that will honour that timber and the vision you have for it.
This furniture is all hand crafted in our studio in Christchurch, New Zealand. If you would like to purchase one of the pieces below or order your very own unique piece of furniture, get in touch with us ( firstname.lastname@example.org or 03 385 4362 ) and we will be happy to arrange a quote for the furniture and delivery within New Zealand if required.
