These multi-purpose, multi-use cleaning cloths are made from rescued fabric that has been diverted from landfill. They encourage a move away from single-use living and towards the support of locally made products. And they look GREAT!

All cloths are washed, overlocked and ready to be put to work!

Made with love by the Lyttel Sew & Sews, a group of volunteers who process all of the unsellable fabric donations made to Lyttelton's op shop. They wash and repair items for resale and deconstruct the items that can't be saved, using up every last scrap that they can in an effort to avoid waste. They turn tired old fabrics into usable objects with a new lease on life.

By purchasing these cloths, you are helping the Lyttel Sew & Sews in their wonderful mission to:

• Avoid waste.
• Keep textiles out of landfill.
• Honour all textile donations received.
• Volunteers work purposefully together.

So what volunteer skills were actually used in the making of these cloths? There were hands which sorted through the donations; hands which cut and overlocked the edges; hands that washed them; hands that rolled them into bundles and hands that market and advertise them for sale. That's a lot of happy volunteers working together and building relationships⁠ both within the Lyttelton community and with other like-minded organisations, and all for such a good cause!
