Plastic Free Request Letters

If you have started your plastic-free journey you will know that it's not easy! Plastic is everywhere and we are constantly faced with it, regardless of where we are or what we are doing.

Going plastic free can often feel impossible, especially when a lot of our favourite products are swathed in copious amounts of plastic. Sure, we can shop in bulk bin shops, refill our containers and switch to plastic-free alternatives but sadly these options aren't always available to everyone.

This is where we suggest that you get in touch with the manufacturer (or retailer) in question asking that they provide a plastic-free option. You might want to do this for your go-to products or you may want to up your plastic-free game and challenge yourself to contact a different manufacturer (or local council or politician) every day in July asking that they do their bit to address the waste crisis.

Whatever you choose as your challenge this month, we have a template for you to record your efforts and track the responses that you receive.
