Face Mask

New Zealand made facemasks with a woollen Helix filter.

These 3-layer organic cotton face masks give you the option of wearing using elastics that loop over your ears or they also have surgical ties to tie at the back of your head which help hold the mask nice and snug to your face (no more sore ears) or safely around your neck when you're not wearing it. The wire nose piece ensures a comfortable fit and good seal.

• Made in New Zealand (filters are a mix of made in NZ and made in China)

• 3-layer filter system (2 layers of cotton with a filter in between)
• Surgical ties to fit the face well and ear loops too. If you prefer to use the loops only, the ties can be easily removed / pulled out of the mask.
• A flexible metal tab to shape around your nose and create a good seal
• These masks are not medical grade and will not protect the wearer, good hand washing and social distancing practices are recommended in conjunction with mask wearing to stop transmission.
• These masks are not intended to replace surgical face masks and are not PPE certified - the filters themselves have been tested but these three layer masks have not.

• The ear-to-ear measurement includes the elastic loops.
• The adult medium is very similar to the child size. The surgical ties allow the children's masks to be pulled tighter for a better fit on a small child's face, making the #goodfacemask the most versatile design on the market.
• All masks are handmade so sizes may vary slightly. Please choose carefully as there are no refunds for health reasons.

Care:
Please hand wash your mask. If putting in your washing machine we recommend using a laundry bag to protect the surgical ties.

Filter system
Each mask comes with a filter designed to be used once. The masks can also be used without a filter or you can make your own from a clean piece of cotton, hankie or kitchen paper towel. (The average kitchen paper towel has a filter system of approximately N70.) Note that there are two small holes at the bottom of the mask to enable you to fit any type of filter.
